Tonight on a construction site I was building up my dream
It will be the tallest one anyone ever had seen
It will rise above the clouds and through the atmosphere
I might also reach a star and drop it on to the ground
What can be built can be also be broken down
What climbs up can be also be dragged to the ground
Things that live will eventually die
It’s a truth that will make you cry
Pillars that used to hold me up
and made me standing tall are now taken away
Ruins of my wildest dream
are now cleared and packed on that yellow truck
Maybe it was ‘cause of the wind at those heights,
way too many rainy days made it all fall apart
And talking about the sabotage
people planting bombs in my dream and blew it up in the air
What can be built can be also be broken down...
Well I’m no architect I’m no engineer
But the vision that came to my head was clear to me
I ignored the calculations and the drawings too
and it all happened so soon
Can you hear how the pieces of my dream are crumbling now
They are rolling from the hill to the cliff to the shore
continuing their way to the ocean blue
to the core of the earth
