I found a letter hovering in the air,
marked under my address and name
It was from my old friend who had lost her name,
living in the street which doesn’t exist
Inside there was a photo of her, overexposed,
I cannot tell how she looks like today
And a plain white paper with nothing on it,
there was nothing to say
What will I write? When my life is circling around
How can I reply? When there is nothing to say
What will I write? When my life is all the same
How can I reply? When there is nothing to say
So I wrote her a letter with nothing on it,
just a plain white paper folded in two
It had everything I’ve achieved, everything I’ve done,
all of my moments both sorrow and joy
And I took her a picture of the shape that I bear,
a body that’s borrowed to me for my life
It got underexposed and also slightly blurred
but I think it looks better this way
What will she write? When her life is circling around...
I found a letter waiting in my hallway...
I found a letter without any address nor name
I found a letter from my hallway, I reach it slow
I found a letter without an address nor name...
Like a drop in the sea my life will become a part of the stream
Like a grain in the sand my name will remain
unknown to the desert wind
I won’t need a name, I’m a leaf hanging on a tree
What will I write? When my life is circling around
How can I reply? When there is nothing to say
